I’d redo the bathroom. My husband doesn’t seem capable of comprehending the fact that there is an exhaust fan in the bathroom for a reason! So every day he takes his 20 minute hot showers, and every day the wallpaper starts falling off the walls a little more than the day before.
master bedroom
definetly the master bedroom!
I don’t think I did it properly for entry…here is the whole comment that should have been posted above:

I live in an efficiency apartment. I just found out I’m pregnant so I definitely need to do my main room. It’s a living room and bedroom both right now. I need to adjust it so that it also includes a nursery. I need a ton of storage solutions as well.

The living room. I’m in the process of buying a new house and the battleship grey walls throughout the house have to go!
ooh definitely dining room
I would try to do as many rooms as possible, but my main focus would probably be the dining room, because that seems to be the worst. We just moved into this house in June, and though we are renting, we’d like to make it feel a bit more like ours. The problem is, the previous tenants marked up the walls like it was going out of fashion, and I can’t seem to get any of the scuffs or stains off. The current paint is a very light flat eggshell, which is already extremely unforgiving. Add to the mix that we have a 16 month old who touches EVERYTHING and two jumpy little schnauzers, and the situation has reached critical mass. If I had any money left over I’d try to do the living room because we spend the most time there, and also my daughter’s room, because she’s never had any color walls but standard apartment white. And yes, we do have permission from our LL to repaint
Oops…used my blog email addy and not my personal one that I used to sign up for the KILZ contest. So you can delete my previos post and use this one…

I was just telling (well laughing too, crazy like) my husband that we have lived here for 7 years and never once touched our bedroom. We’ve worked on the whole house EXCEPT the bedroom. Its impossible ugly. One wall has a horrific border on it, well some of its ripped down. Our 2 walls have cracks going down them from settling (probably more than $500 can handle but who knows). The carpet is mauve! haha yeah mauve like it was cool in the early 90′s mauve. It’s a big space and we don’t know what to do with it or how to fix it. Before I go I have to tell you about the TV hole. The previous owners cut holes in the walls for the TV and VCR to fit in!! It’s hideous. HELP!
I entered and picked my living room to make over, paint can do so much for a room.
