Nature’s Cupcake

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on May 19, 2010

When on a nature walk, in practically our own backyard, Ethan brought a smile to our faces when he shouted out that he found a “cupcake” just off the trail. Can you see it in tucked in the grass?

Later we found spiders {shudder}, beautiful flowers, tadpoles and more.
We had a fun afternoon at the Placer Nature Center, exploring God’s wonderful creation!

Yesterday I knelt on a toad. You know how you feel something moving on your leg, and it’s always a figment of your imagination?

Not this time. :)

Sorry, totally random comment, but the spiders made me think of it. LOL

I love watching young children and seeing how they adapt new experiences to their current scheme of understanding! It helps me see the world in an entirely different way.
Looks like a fun day for everyone!
