I know there are many Twilight fans out there… Are you one? I have yet to read the series, or see the movie, that has gals – yes, even the grown-up, mommy type – all excited. I’ve never been in to vampire stories, but I’m thinking of purchasing the books to read on my upcoming flight to Austin…
Walmart has put together a fab Twilight page, with character bites, fun polls, and even a clock counting down the seconds until the movie release!
Oooh, I have to tell you – One of my fellow ElevenMoms – my good friend Amy, of Mom Advice – will be interviewing Jacob Lautner, the actor who plays Jacob in the Twilight movie, on her Blog Talk Radio show this Monday, March 9th, at 6pm PST. If you are a Twilight fan, this is a show you do not want to miss!
And guess what else? WalMart is giving one of you a Twilight prize pack, worth $150 dollars! This ultimate package will include the Twilight DVD and a bunch of other goodies (shown below).

Read all 4 books, thought they were great.. daughter is at walmart now (12:00 March 21st am) to get movie!
So far I’ve read the first novel and watched the film adaptation – so far I’m hooked, and I didn’t think I would enjoy either as much as I have. Now I understand why “Twilight” has become such a cultural phenomenon!
My favorite character would have to be Bella – I really relate to her romanticism and inner conflicts and found myself identifying with her more than any other character in the first novel.

I read all four books, and my daughter and granddaughter are at a Twilight party tonight and will each get the movie so I’m sure I’ll get to see it real soon.

I have not read the books yet, I am curious about what all the fuss is about. I haven’t seen the movie either. I do have two granddaughters who have been talking about Twilight lately. It sure is popular! I never thought I know it’s more or less a teenybopper series but I still might read it anyway! I read all the Harry Potter books and really loved those. I wonder if I will feel the same about these? Anyway, I know the girls would love this prize, that’s for sure!
