Well, that was quite an exciting few days, but I made it across another tight rope as I tried to juggle everything in perfect balance.
Last Thursday we discovered that Noah had croup, Zach had swimmer’s ear, and it was suspected that Josh had bronchitis… ugh! The two days that followed were stressful, to say the least, with Ray going on an unexpected business trip as I tried to juggle soccer practices with sick babies.
I made it through some stressful moments, but then had a fun-filled weekend celebrating the lives of two little babies who will grace us with their presence in the next few weeks — Rebecca Unfried’s baby girl and my newest little nephew! I am so thrilled to have babies around again!!
I’ve begun making mental lists, today, in preparation for a much-anticipated anniversary trip Ray and I are blessed to be able to take… Just the two of us are going on a Carribbean cruise, thanks to Walmart (and plenty of peeps taking good care of our kiddos)!! WOOT! There is much to be done as I make last minute arrangements for the kiddos, pack a family of eight, and figure out which excursions we’ll be taking in Jamaica and the Grand Caymans! Am I really going to those places?
The night before we leave for Florida, we will be taking our kiddos to the circus. Can you believe how crazy we are? We are all looking forward to it, but since we’ll be gone during the time I am usually packing and stressing out, I am trying to get things done a bit earlier than I normally would. Wish this procrastinator some luck, would ya?
The last several days have been crazy, but this coming week will be a whirlwind.
My goal to keep everything in balance, as I make it across yet another tight rope.
Oh, I almost forgot… If the circus sounds fun to you, you may want to consider taking your kiddos to see the Ringling Brothers Circus, “Zing, Zang, Zoom!” You can purchase a 4-pack of tickets for only $44 by logging onto http://www.ticketmaster.com and entering the coupon code: MOM. You can actually use this code at Arena Box Offices, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. (Enter code in the “MC Promotion Box” on Ticketmaster.)
It’s been a circus!

I can’t wait to hear about the cruise! It’s going to be amazing, and relaxing!
Sounds awesome! It will be interesting to read about your travels with your family. We are a family of six but we haven’t been able to afford a vacation yet. However, I’m not too upset because my two youngest are 4 amd 2, and boys! I can’t imagine!
I hope you have fun. Make sure to take some great pics. =)
Happy Anniversary. Hope you have an amazing vacation and that the kids are all feeling much better this week.
How did you get a cruise from Walmart? You lucky girl! I hope you have a good time. I only have two kids, and I have anxiety every time we try to take a vacation. Do you have any advice for me as to how in the world I get over this???
