1. Although my family and most dinner guests may think I am a good cook, I do not like to cook.
2. I love to bake, especially with my kiddos.
3. I think I am a better mom to boys than girls. {I think God knows this too, hence the five boys and only one girl.}
4. That said, I’d really like to have another daughter.
5. Spiders scare the pee out of me.
6. I would rather clean toilets than fold and put away laundry. {Yes, really.}
7. Sour candy is the best thing ever. I love me some Sour Patch Kids!
8. You do not want to talk to me before 9am. I do not like mornings.
9. My husband is my best friend.
10. I love the water, but have an intense fear of drowning.
How’s that for a list of random? I’m pretty sure you can’t get more random than that!

I’m a sucker for sour, too. Pardon the pun.
I also am not a morning person. My husband does the morning shift. This is better for all involved.
Why do you think you’re better with the boys? Just curious. Do you think you have less patience with a little girl because you instinctively “get” her? (I completely made that up, but that’s how I think I might be.)

Oh man, I HATE cleaning toilets. I’m not too fond of folding laundry either but I’d much rather do that than the toilets.

I’m with you on 7, 8, and 9.
We buy sour patch kids by the bulk bag at Walmart, however if we’re watchin a movie or going on a long car ride, that big bag does NOT last long!
And the last time I got up before 9 was…well yesterday…but I sat around watching t.v. until a little after 9:15.

Sour patch kids are my all time favorite too! I’m so glad you shared about being a better mother to the boys. I always said I wanted 5 boys, no girls, I just didn’t think I could handle one. Now that I’m older, a little wiser, have had two boys and am raising my two little brothers in law also, I think I’m ready for a girl. Unfortunately I think my Hubby is finished having kids. I figure if it’s meant to happen, God will make it be so

By the way…I’m a mom of seven…so reading your bio was quite fun! We have 3 girls then four boys. Mothering boys is different than girls…both are fun…but take different skill sets and energy!

I have always said that God intended for me to be the mother of boys! I have two boys…no girls and I am pretty sure that I would have zero idea what to do with one!
I love folding laundry–it’s the putting away part that I always get tripped up on! Haha!
Also, I always get complimented on my cooking too! But I only cook because it’s cheaper than eating out

It is amazing how God gives us what we are meant to have. I thought for sure I was having a little girl. We found out last Wed that it is another little boy. I am thrilled to see brothers and how they will be together!!

I am so NOT a morning person either! And I’m not a fan of cooking. I would actually rather clean or even do laundry than cook! Good thing since my new little guy just doubled the laundry I do!
I think I agree with you on #6…. I hate putting away laundry (which is why only half of my bed is sleepable…)

I am a great cook, but I hate cooking! It is a never ending process from getting out the food and ingredients, pots and pans, preparing the food, watching it cook (stirring, pouring, measuring), serving the food, finally eating the food, but wait…..I have to clean the kitchen! That’s why I only cook 3 or 4 days out of the week! I need a break every other day!
