BlissDom was a blast… I really can’t wait to share pictures and tell you all about it. I got to hang out with some of my bestest friends on this here internet, and I met so many amazing women, who I can now call real-life friends.
But, boy am I basking in the glow of being home! I felt that heart-stopping anticipation as I saw Ray pull up at the airport to pick me up, and I was thrilled to wake up to my kiddos wanting to snuggle with me. Early, I might add! There is nothing like a big hug from the people you love the most.
Does absence truly make the heart grow fonder, or is there really just no place like home?

How true it is! Even though I wasn’t at Blissdom, I know the feeling!

Christine,
There is no place like home, we agree.
Blissdom was so much fun and in large part (for us), it was because of you. We think you are amazing – an inspiration, not only to us, but to a WHOLE LOT of moms out there who look to you for support and guidance.
MomFaves shares your commitment to share what you love with the people you love and also to preserving the integrity of the mothers voice – no matter what!
We will be spending lots of time here on your blog because it meets us where we are as parents. We are grateful for you and excited about our new friendship.
Cheers!

Both!
Home is the best I hate going away from it!!!
I loved hanging with all you fabulous blog mamas, but I was glad to be home Sunday. It was great seeing you again Christine! I wish we’d gotten a Camp Baby alum group photo…maybe next year!
I was so happy to hug my babies! I’ve been squeezing them so tight ever since I got back. I had a lot of fun and didn’t ache for them while at the Bliss… but when I saw them again, I just got all warm inside. Love my family!

Both! Getting away and doing something for yourself makes you love your loved ones even more. Gives you a chance to rejuvenate. There is definitely no place like home and absence does allow you to appreciate what you have.
