The Gift of Flavor

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on June 10, 2008

PhotobucketWho doesn’t like a good barbecue sauce?! Boy, do I have a great one to tell you about… When you fire up the bbq for some Father’s Day grilling, you certainly don’t want to be without Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce. This sauce is just the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, with a bit of a kick!

Who is Country Bob? Bob Edison perfected the sauce of his dreams and in 1977 began to sell it. Country Bob continues to make some of the best sauce around, but people loved his sauce as much then as they do now.

Now, I have yet to try this flavorful sauce on any thing. (Yes, I confess that I tried it straight out of the bottle. I really did. I licked the safety seal after I pulled it off! Oh, come on… I know you’ve done that before!) I can only imagine that this sauce would be perfect on some steak, hamburger patties, chicken breasts, or even french fries. We’re certainly using it at our next barbecue!

Win It!!

1. Visit www.countrybobs.com and check out all of the great recipes there.
2. Leave a comment here, by 9pm on Saturday, June 14th, telling me which recipe you would like to try, and why.

One lucky person will win two bottles of this flavorful sauce!

You can earn up to three additional entries just by doing the following (all of which are optional):
1. Blog about AND link to this giveaway. Leave me a separate comment with the exact url.
2. Send out a tweet, with a link to this giveaway. Leave a separate comment with your Twitter handle.
3. If you haven’t already, you may grab my Father’s Day Gift Guide button and place it in a post, or on your sidebar, to help spread the word about some great products for Dad. Make sure you leave me another comment to let me know you did that, for an additional entry.

Good Luck and Happy Grilling!

Most of our family loves grilled onions. I can never make to many of them when I decide to put forth the effort. We have never tried making them with a sauce before, so for that reason, I would like to try the Scrumptious Grilled Onions recipe. I bet they would be great served alongside the steak tip recipe that I use.
