This week, at times, I felt a bit more overwhelmed than usual. The responsibilities of being a supportive and loving wife, taking care of (and teaching) six kiddos, tending to our home, balancing our budget, and planning for the future were quite exhausting.
This week my days seemed long, as if they never intended to end.
But, as I sit here on this Sunday night I am amazed, yet again, that I am saying goodbye to one week and hello to another. Where does the time go? It slips by so quickly.
I have to admit that last week was a trying one. But, as I look forward to a new week, I am confident that the Lord will give me strength for the tasks at hand, and that He will never give me more than I can handle!

And the years seem even shorter….it is hard to believe Christmas is around the corner…or my ‘baby’ is about to be 10 next month…or I have had my same job for 9 years…time is a crazy thing.
Time goes by so quickly these days. I blinked and now I have an almost 13 year old. ((sigh))
It’s crazy that you bring up this quote because at the hospital dad was holding Isaac and said that same quote reminding me to savor every moment with Isaac and Alex. I hope your week IS going better for you. Hugs, Sara
Some weeks are harder than others, we know what you mean.
Six kiddos??! Wow.
Awe your sister reads your blog? So sweet, you always have the best things to say. Even when life isn’t always going the way we expect it to. It’s these moments that make it special. Kuddos!
