I asked my kiddos about their favorite things today, thinking they would say things like ice cream and cookies, but I quickly realized that I am the only one with food on my mind all. the. time. LOL
Here’s what they said::
1. If you know anything about Noah, you know he loves Mickey. Of course, when I asked Noah, he didn’t even let me finish the question before he yelled, “MICKEY!”
2. The first thing out of Ben’s mouth was “my big dinosaur.” I can certainly attest to the fact that he’s pretty attached to his Monty!
3. This was news to me, but apparently Ben loves rockets, too. Interesting.
4. Playing football with Dad is what Josh said. He definitely loves spending time with Dad, so he also said, “playing soccer with Dad,” and “playing catch with Dad.”
5. Josh is a big fan of numbers and is constantly making sure the equations he does in his head are correct. I should not have been surprised when Josh said he loves to thinking about numbers…. Yet, it floored me!
6. Julia said that her Littlest Pet Shop pets are some of her favorite things. She’s not much in to toys – she’d rather write, draw, or do crafts – but she does love her LPS collection!
7. “Doing my school,” was the second thing that Julia mentioned as a favorite. Her all-time favorite thing to do in school and out? Reading.
8. What nine-year-old boy doesn’t love to explore? Well, it’s one of Zach’s favorite things to do.
9. Building stuff with Legos comes in at a close second for Zach, but falls in first place for Ethan. And who said identical twins were exactly alike?
10. If Ethan is playing out front, you’ll most likely see him on his Shred Sled cruising down the street. I was going to answer my own question for him if he didn’t say his Shred Sled. Lucky for him, he did. {Do you not know what a Shred Sled is? Check it out – You’ll see why it’d be a favorite.}
It was funny to see how many of my kiddos’ favorite things aren’t things at all, but are ways to spend time. Love it!
