My favorite birthday treat is traditional German Chocolate cake – you know with the creamy coconut carmel frosting! I just love it and very rarely will indulge myself with it! I know this sounds weird, but I also love to have pizza on my birthday – again, something I rarely eat because of the carbs, but a splurge I wish for on my special day!

Victoria cake from Deerfield’s bakery in Buffalo Grove, IL. The cake has three layers of a denser cake…almost like pound cake. Between one layer is a filling of pudding and bananas. Between the next layer is a strawberry glaze filling. The icing is buttercream and surrounding the cake on all the sides are lady finger cookies pressed vertically into the side icing.
Favorite birthday treat? Probably ice cream cake. Or a fruit pie.

My favorite birthday treat is something that I like to make for my kids’ birthdays and for them to bring to school. I make chocolate covered marshmellows and sprinkle them with fun b-day sprinkles. My favorite birthday treat is a checkerboard with vanilla buttercream icing. It’s the only time I make it so I always have remember where I stashed the special pans from the year before.
A triple layer chocolate cake and then I use two jars of whipped fudge frosting so it is super yummy! Then we splurge on ice cream and get the triple chocolate brownie chunk!
