Being gone for almost an entire week meant lots of mail to go through... Bills, letters, bills, ads, bills, fun packages, magazines, bills. After a trek to the post office only to discover that it was all to be delivered, I decided to tackle it!
Not bad!
Now I have to tackle all those bills!!

I had purchased these plastic bins to try to keep things organized, but they don't work too well, mostly due to operator error. This is what it ends up looking like....
It looks pretty good after it's organized! Ah well... Maybe one day it will stay clean for more than a little while!

I'm not going to to tackle much around the house, but I have loads of stuff to tackle today:
- If you have emailed me for any reason, and have not yet heard from me, rest assured that you will some time today.
- My Bloggy Giveaway prizes need to be mailed.
- My Ben's birthday party is this weekend, so I will be out and about gathering items for his celebration... cake toppings, paper goods, fixings for Muddy Buddies, and the like.
- There are still a few Christmas gifts that need to be hand-delivered. That WILL happen today.
- A trip to the health food store and Trader Joe's is in order, at some point.
- And, all of this will take place AFTER our lessons and chores, of course.

I've been trying to tackle all of those wonderful bloggy giveaways everyone seems to be hosting, but I still had Christmas shtuff in the entry way of my bedroom, even after five weeks. Whaaaat!?!? I've been a little busy!
I finally decided to My hubby asked me, ever so kindly, if I could package up the last of my Christmas gifts and mail them (horrible, I know!), then clean up that mess.

Mission: Laundry Room

I mentioned before that I am on a mission to get stuff in my house organized. So far, I think I'm doin' pretty good.
Yesterday I decided to tackle my laundry room. This was a room that had been neglected for quite some time, and what a mess it was! I'm sure you know what I mean... Laundry everywhere, empty detergent containers on the counter, garbage on the floor, soap scum on the washer - Need I go on?
I didn't snap shots of what it looked like before, but do you want to see what my laundry room looks like now?
I am so excited to finally be able to walk in to the room without fearing for my life!!
