Then She Found Me is a story that follows Alice Epner (Hunt), an almost 40 year-old New York school teacher. Alice’s life couldn’t get any more challenging - Her biological clock is ticking, but she is abandoned by her very immature husband (Broderick). Shortly after her adopted mother’s death, her quirky birth mother (Midler) unexpectedly reenters her life. However, after meeting the divorced father of one of her students, her life opens up in ways she had never imagined.

I would certainly not recommended this movie for children, but this tale is funny, thought-provoking, and all around entertaining.
