Sealy Posturepedic Mattress {giveaway}

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on January 11, 2010

Just before Christmas, Ray and I received a special delivery – a Posturepedic innerspring mattress. This mattress from the Sealy Signature 11 Series was sent to us to review {with something special in the deal for YOU}. And boy, has it been quite the treat.

We were able to choose our comfort level – Extra Plush, Plush or Firm – and may have gone a little too soft by choosing the Plush, but let me tell you, this mattress envelops us and makes us feel like we are sleeping on a cloud! So comfy and cozy is this mattress that we have a difficult time keeping our children in their own beds!

Sealy Posturepedic Signature

This all-new Sealy Posturepedic mattress was designed to eliminates tossing and turning, turning the precious few hours, we busy parents get to sleep, into better sleep.

How?

• By providing both advanced push-back support system and
maximum pressure relief
• By distributing body weight away from the heavier parts of the
body, relieving pressure from where it’s concentrated
• By maintaining proper spinal alignment, blood flow and circulation,
which enables restful and restorative sleep

Andrea Kruse January 12, 2010 at 1:34 pm

I love the fact you can sleep right up to the edge…important when we often have 4 bodies sleeping in our Queen bed by morning! This family of 4 would love a Sealy Posturepedic Set in Queen for a better night sleep. (This Mama needs al the good sleep she can get!)

Erica Mueller January 12, 2010 at 1:35 pm

Mnn. Edge support! Hubs and I have this on our bed and it’s the greatest invention in mattress history! I no longer feel like I’m falling off when I get close to the edge.

Right now my lil man is sleeping on a twin mattress, on the floor. I want to get him a queen size so we can use his room for guests when we have company.

Ellen Lauterbach January 12, 2010 at 1:35 pm

Hi! I like the fact that the Sealy Posturepedic Mattress is designed with the experts at Sealy’s Pressure Mapping Lab. All of their mattresses are designed to eliminate tossing and turning caused by uncomfortable pressure points. I would love to win a queen size bed. Thanks!

Not being able to get a good night’s sleep due to children is one thing, but even on the night’s the kids let us sleep, we woke up tired and sore. We desperately need a new mattress and this sounds wonderful. I love that it alleviates those pressure points so we can stop tossing and turning all night. I would choose the firm king size mattress if I won.

Carol January 12, 2010 at 3:03 pm

This is exactly what we need! My husband’s back has been hurting every morning, and we have outgrown our queen. It is an older hand me down mattress that is over due to be replaced! I was thinking of this as my 6 year old hit me in the face for the 5th time this morning as he climbed in bed with us. Our 3 year old followed closely behind before my alarm went off! My arm was faithfully asleep. Being a single income family, we are on a tight budget, and could really use this! I’m a fan, and receive RSS feed on my yahoo! I saw the picture Ray posted of your old mattress being taken to the dump, and I must admit I was a bit in envy. The thought of a new Sealy Posturepetic matress makes me all tingly inside!!!!!! Nothing is better than a good night sleep, and we are over due!

I would love to win a Twin Plush Sealy Posturepedic Mattress to replace the ancient mattress that I have right now. I really love that this Sealy Posturepedic is advised by the Orthopedic Advisory Board. Right now with the mattress that I have, I toss and turn and just can’t get comfortable. This Posturepedic sounds like it’s exactly what I need.
Thanks so much for offering this wonderful prize.

We could really use the cushion firm Queen size w/ euro pillowtop. The reason being our current queen sized bed has a massive (so massive I think a family of pumas could live there) divot in the middle from both of us tending to roll to the middle. Agh! So, all that to say, it’s time for a new mattress and this would be a great one.

Thank you. :-)

The pressure relief inlay is sure to come in handy for me – my current King sized bed is crowded during the night with my dogs and cats (some who sleep on top of me:)

Our mattress is over 7 years old. After seeing an episode of Dr Oz talking about how your mattress is pretty much consumed by bed bugs after the fifth year, I have been slightly disgusted by the idea of sleeping on our current mattress. We would love a full size, plush mattress.

Last, I am entering because my Husband and I have never had a new mattress! We have always wanted a Posturpedic mattress but have set a goal to only pay cash for large purchases, no credit cards! We currently have a Queen very old hand me down broken springs…not to be dramatic but its not a great mattress. I hope a new mattress would help my husband with his snoring and me with my insomnia. Wow we sound like a mess! Last we hope to win a King size mattress as my husband is a large man and i tend to end up on the couch most nights. TMI sorry :-)
If I had a choice I would absolutely LOVE the Sealy Posturepedic Signature Series in King.

Thanks, Lauren (Sleepless in Sacramento) :-)

I would LOVE to have a new mattress! The Sealy Posturepedic Signature Series sounds so wonderful. My very strong (79 lb. dog) but sweet dog pulled too hard on her leash trying to chase a cat and injured my right shoulder. Wouldn’t you know, that’s the side I sleep mostly on, so our mattress is a little too hard and makes sleeping difficult. I would love the memory foam and a King size would be perfect!

Ms. T January 12, 2010 at 5:54 pm

Old one we had to throw away it had a couple springs break & come through the mattress & now I/we are using a foam mattress & the couch for a bed..

Oh a new bed sounds like heaven! I don’t think Jason and I have had a truly GOOD night sleep in years. Our bed is an old bed we got from a hotel in town that was upgrading (YUCK!). The thought of less tossing/turning is so appealing. The memory foam sounds wonderful! I would totally love the plush in King size. (I would say Queen, but Jason loves having space… I tend to hog the bed!)

i also have scoliosis and since giving birth to my son it has taken a toll on my back so i’m in love with the memory foam. would be great on my back queen size

Chrissy N. January 12, 2010 at 7:59 pm

I would like to win one because I have RA and it would make a huge help if I were in a comfortable bed :)

Laurie D January 12, 2010 at 8:07 pm

We would love to win a firm king size mattress. Our mattress has to be at least 15 years old now. It’s a very clean mattress, but has lost it’s shape. It’s made it through two pregnancies and my side has a rut in it, just the size of what I was when I was pregnant with my son and my daughter! I actually roll to one side when laying in it! Flipping the mattress doesn’t help anymore. We just can’t afford a new one right now with all the other expenses we have right now. My husband and I also have ongoing back problems — likely from a unsupportive mattress! What I wouldn’t do for a full nights sleep after a long day of work and running around after two young children! Thanks for the opportunity.

Maureen January 12, 2010 at 8:24 pm

I have fibromyalgia and DVT and therefore it is very hard to find a comfortable sleeping position many nights. The Sealy Posturepedic Reserve Series in the plush sounds just dreamy. I would love a queen.

I love that they offer Orthopedically Correct Design: mattresses that give maximum support but don’t compromise on pressure relief. I’ve slept on a Sealy mattress my whole life thus far, and I’ll never sleep on anything else! I’d definitely go with Firm for my comfort level and I think I’d want it in queen size.

Anne Taylor January 12, 2010 at 10:23 pm

I have pretty severe arthritis throughout my body and am very sensitive to pressure points and do toss and turn quite alot! Reading about this mattress it seems that it reduces tossing and turning and that would be heavenly for me.

I would select the Pur Embrace, California King size!

Thanks
