We used to use Scott paper towels as wipes when the triplets were babies. We’d fold them, put them in an old wipe container, and wet them, then use with a gentle soap for diaper changes.

One of my tried and true: Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and re-apply sunscreen after being outside in the sun for more than a couple of hours or so.

This is good:
When I make hamburgers on the grill or stove, before I serve them to my family, I absorb the grease with Scotts paper towels.

I use Scott paper towels when cooking bacon in the microwave. It absobs the grease but does not stick to the paper towels.

I just read the tip about reusing a scott flushable wipe box as a place to store first aid and bug bite meds. We took ours on vacation for the kids to play with small toys on the long drive and then we filled each box with seashells that the kids had gathered and brought them home. They decorated them like little treasure chests. We really love these little boxes and obviously keep the wipes on hand as they are fabulous and in our son’s case, necessary! Thanks, Leslie

I just found this tip:
To clean and deodorize carpets, add 1 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of hot water. This is better than ANY brand I have tried! The faint vinegar smell is gone when the carpet is dry.

I’m going to try this! I have dogs and work with a dog rescue, so I’m always trying to find the best carpet cleaner!

Thanks for the opportunity!

This was my favorite tip

To clean hard-to-reach windows, you can use SCOTT Towels on your disposable head mop. Just spray a little window cleaner on the towel and clean away!

I’ve always used Scott towels for wrapping my potato in before putting it in the microwave. I have to tell you, one day, I pulled it out, turned it over and it had a smiley face on it. A sign it was going to be a good day? Would love to post it, maybe will do that on my blog. Blessings, Love & Peace,
RH

One of my tried and true tips is…to remove makeup from carpet, or other hard to remove stains from carpet, apply some straight laundry detergent and hot water t the area, let soak, and scrub. It’s helped me a lot over the years! Thanks!!

One of my tried tips is to use paper towel if you run out of makeup remover pads because they don’t have fuzzy things on them like toilet paper or tissues do. Just put your makeup remover on a square of paper towel and use it like you would your makeup remover pads. I also use them when I remove my contacts because you can’t dry your hands with anything that leaves fuzz or anything on your hands because it will end up in your eye.

I read thru lots of their tips-it seems that they are all over the place, so I’ll tell you my favorite cooking tip for summer-I marinate chicken all day in your favorite marinade (italian dressing & salsa is great, as is soy sauce or teriyaki) in a plastic baggie in the fridge-that way, when I get home, I can just pop it on the grill & fix some veggies & dinner is done in less than 1/2 hour-love summer grilling! thanks!

“To clean and deodorize carpets, add 1 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of hot water” This is a great, much needed tip. My kids have spilled so much into our rug, that every time it gets wet it smells. It’s really nice and I almost threw it out, but my mom talked me out of it. This is a tip that hopefully will get that smell out.

I use a paper towel with a little window cleaner to wipe the bathroom mirror. Add a little water and wipe down the counter and the sink. Next is the toilet or floor, whichever needs it the most. It’s my daily swish and swipe.

I put a roll of Scott towels in the bathroom for everyone to use when we have a large get together. Everyone likes the idea better than using the same hand towel.

Thanks for a great contest! I have a tip: I know that a lot of people use Scott papertowels to absorb grease while cooking, but did you know that you can use it to skim off fat on the top of soups, stews, etc.?

Just lay the paper towel on top of the food, let it sit a minute, then take it out with tongs. It works really well to absorb the unwanted grease/fat!

When the water is down in the tank, and you want to get the algae off the sides of the tank, SCOTT Towels work well. They don’t fray or fall apart, and they get the job done

A tried and true paper towel trick from me… When fishing with nightcrawlers, and you don’t use all the worms in one day, put them in the fridge. But before you do, put a wet paper towel inside the box of worms, the worms will eat the paper towel, and live up to a month! Just replace the paper towel when needed!
