Pistachio: A Lesson in Listening to Your Parents

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on March 20, 2010

PISTACHIO - VeggieTales
In true VeggieTales fashion, Pistachio: The Little Boy That Woodn’t, is fun and full of silliness all the while teaching a valuable lesson. Of course, Big Idea Entertainment follows it’s unique tradition of retelling timeless adventures – Pistachio is a creative parody of the beloved story of Pinocchio, and teaches a timely lesson on listening to parents and the importance of family.

Pistachio stars Larry the Cucumber as a toymaker named Gelato, Junior Asparagus as Pistachio, and many other Veggie favorites. The highlight for our family? The new silly song called “Where Have All The Staplers Gone?”

Would you like to win this fun DVD for your own family’s enjoyment? I thought so, and that’s why I’m excited to tell you that I have TWO copies to give away!

Here’s how to enter for a chance to win:

  • Leave me a comment, before 9pm (pst) on April 2nd, telling me which VeggieTales movie or silly song is your family’s favorite.

Want a few bonus entries? Leave me a separate comment for each of the following:

  • Follow me on Twitter – I’m YoungMommy – and tweet about this giveaway, including a link to this giveaway and the hashtag #D2Dgvwy.
TWO winners will be selected at random, and will be notified by email. Winners will then have 24 hours to respond before forfeiting their prize.

We really like Pistachio! It’s been available on Netflix Instant Streaming, so we’ve watched it a few times. Especially when our 7 year old thinks he knows what’s the best thing to do… then we ask him about Pistachio. It would be awesome to have a copy of our own! :)
