Pay It Forward Book Exchange

I am participating in this wonderful giveaway, hosted by Overwhelmed With Joy, and have a fun book to give to a randomly selected winner…

Bittersweet, by Cathy Marie Hake.

Laney McCain has unabashedly had her sights set on Galen O’Sullivan for years. And although Galen has treated her as nothing more than his best friend’s pesky tagalong sister, Laney dares hope that now is the time he will open his eyes and truly recognize the woman she’s become.
But the arrival of Ishmael and Ivy Grubb, squatters on the O’Sullivans’ land, diverts Galen’s attention. Though the Grubbs are crass and uneducated, Galen shows mercy and allows them to stay in exchange for help around the farm. It becomes, however, a decision he lives to regret…..

The book actually takes place in the town, here in California, where my mom and dad grew up, and where I lived for several years as a young child, and again as an adult. Only this book takes place nearly 200 years before my parents were even born! Kinda fun, huh?

Leave a comment here to be entered to win Bittersweet.
I will randomly select a winner on September 20th and ship the book out shortly thereafter.

Don’t forget to check out all of the other fabulous books that others are paying forward, too.

How cool that the book takes place in the same town that your family has lived in quite a bit. That’s awful nice of you to part with the book when it has a special meaning! I will definitely pay it forward if I win.
