No Breakfast = Bad Day?

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Yes, I know this to be true.

Aside from the known nutritional benefits of making eggs a part of a balanced breakfast, I am living proof that eating them for breakfast is the best way to insure a good day. After eating breakfast every day for the last eleven days, I have felt more energetic, sharp, and all around better.

Well…

I forgot to eat breakfast today!

In the busy rush of the morning, and trying to get ready to leave for the day, I forgot to eat breakfast. By the time I ran out the door, it was already too late to start the day off right with a healthy, protein-packed breakfast. I was tired, slow, and just all-around grumpy ALL DAY!

Could it be because I didn’t eat anything this morning? I would like to think so.

I can tell you one thing, for sure…

I will be eating breakfast tomorrow!

This week has been a little different. I have mainly stuck with the boiled egg in the morning, it is just easiest for me. On tuesday I was so busy trying to get out of the house that I forgot. We did end up having breakfast for dinner but my day wasn’t so great. This weekend I have felt horrible but it doesn’t have anything to do with the egg challenge. It is just a womanly thing. So I don’t know how I should judge this week.

I know that when I forgot tuesday morning, I really wished I hadn’t. I definitely think there is something to this egg a day thing. I also plan to continue it after this.
