My Kids Leap for LeapFrog! (A Giveaway)

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on December 4, 2008

There are not many “toys” that my kiddos have that can keep them entertained for hours at a time. LeapFrog learning systems are such toys. You know what? As a mom, and my kiddos’ teacher, I am so happy that they can learn – I mean, play – so effortlessly. With games that help them learn how to read, solve problems, and practice their addition and subtraction, there are non that compare.

Win it!

Thanks to the fine folks at LeapFrog, I have one of each of my favorite Leapster products for you to win – the TAG and the Leapster 2. As a bonus, one of you will also win a Didj system – one we have yet to try! That means three of you will win a system for someone special on your gift list, just in time for Christmas!

Here’s how to enter:

  • Leave me a comment on this post, by 9pm on December 12th, telling me which system you would like to win, explaining one of the features of that system.
  • For an additional entry, head over to An Ordinary Life and/or Chic Shopper Chick and leave them a comment on one of the gift guide related posts. Leave me a comment here telling me about the post you visited.
  • Be sure you visit this post, to grab my Gift Guide button, for another extra entry!

Three lucky commenters will be chosen at random, each winning one of the above mentioned LeapFrog systems. Winners will be notified via email, so make sure you leave a valid email address in your comment.

I would love to win the Tag system for my son. I like how the system is wide so that it’s easy for little hands to use.

The Tag is our favorite, but we’d be thrilled to win any one of the three! Love that all three systems are designed for little hands — Leapfrog always keeps the end user (little ones) in mind!

I really like the TAG system. My favorite feature is that it talks in the characters voice! How cool is that?

I would love to win the leapster 2. I have a young son who will be getting ready for something like this. I have two older children that I bought the leap frog reader things for a long long time ago. They are now both in Gifted programs at school. I believe leagfrog helped with this. I hope I can win this for my son for christmas.

I would love to win the Didj system because kids and parents can also shape the learning online by choosing the math and spelling skills they’d like the games to focus on. My kids love to read and play games… adding some educational value is even better!
I also left a comment on “An Ordinary Life” for an extra entry!
Thanks!!!

My son would love to win the Didj system. I love that after game information is uploaded from the handset, parents can follow a link in the connect software to see their children’s progress, making it easy to track success. And, anytime you can sneak learning in by playing is awesome! Thanks!

I love the Diji! I am always looking for ways to make learning more fun for my 7yr old Daughter. I think she would really enjoy this. Her older brothers all have Nintendo DS games, but I won’t let her have one of those yet and I think this would be a way for her to feel like she has her own special “big kid” toy!

Great Giveaway!

The Diji System is so needed. You can make your own characters and it is portable. My son is tortured in my daughters ballet class, this would keep him busy for the hour and then some.

I would love the TAG for my 2-year-old. Reading is his favorite pastime and he would love to be able to read a book to his little brother with the wand. The fact that the character voices change is a bonus. When I change my voice to read a story he has me read the pages over and over.

I have been eying the Tag system – it is so cool! We do a lot of reading in our house. It is very neat that you can point the pen to the different words in the story, and it ‘knows’ which word it is.

Being a teacher and being passionate about reading, I would love the TAG for my 2 and 4 year-olds. Reading is one of their favorite pastimes. I love the at the wand reads to them. What a great fun and interactive way to enjoy learning to read all the more!!

My daughter would enjoy the tag because she is beginning to sound out words and read some stories but this product can help her with anything she cant comprehend or sound out. With 2 little sisters this gives her the opportunity to read whenever she chooses with help even if I’m not available to help. The extra option of being able to track their progress is a helpful option for the parents also….
