I captured on film Timmy’s first taste of table food. It was a delightful two minutes of video wherein he cooed and giggled as he tasted oatmeal and bananas. Unfortunately, however, that video (along with over 400 photos) will never be seen again due to the fact that they were eaten by my laptop. {sniff}

Anyway, I decided to snap a couple of photos at lunchtime today. Timmy tried a new fruit today – apples – and boy, did he love them! His little face is just too darn cute, even when it’s covered with fruit, don’t ya think?

I would someday like to make all of Timmy’s food, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I do, but for now Timmy eats mostly Sprout baby food – an organic line that is now sold at Walmart Supercenters. (Yes, I’m telling you about it because Walmart initially sent it to me, but it is now the only baby food Timmy eats.)

Sprout was co-founded by 15-year Food Network veteran Tyler Florence, a trusted chef, restaurateur, author and father. Tyler believes the best way to encourage healthy eating habits is to feed babies flavorful, nutritious and organic ingredients starting with their first foods. Sprout uses Tyler’s home-cooking methods, like baking and roasting and adding herbs and spices, to bring out delicious flavor in complimentary foods that babies love.

Sprout features a full line of organic baby food in three stages — Timmy is still noshing on the Starter stage, but there is also an Intermediate and Advanced. All of the food for every stage is cooked right in the pouch in which they are sold. And, the pouches are BPA-free and re-sealable. How cool is that?

Find more information at Sprout is also on Facebook and Twitter.

I received samples and have been compensated by Walmart, as a Walmart Mom, for my time and efforts to create this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

How did your laptop eat the pictures? Depending on what happened, there’s a chance you can recover the photos and video.

I deleted over 400 pictures and videos from my iPhone after I thought I had saved them onto my husband’s laptop – you know how it asks you if you want to delete after saving? Yeah, well they didn’t save, which I realized only after they were all gone and went to open the folder they should have been in. :( It just made me sick! I’m not even sure if I should try to recover them from my iPhone or if I should try the laptop.

Well, if the photos weren’t successfully transferred to the laptop, there’s not much you can do unless you want to spend money on an iPhone data recovery tool such as this: It’s kind of fishy that the website doesn’t list the price, but wants you to download the software first. So I’m not sure I would trust that software.

I also saw iPhone data recovery utilities for a couple hundred dollars, but that seems a bit expensive for what it does:

But if the photos were transferred to the laptop, you could try an undelete program such as this one:

Now that is a super cute picture! And I like this post! ;)
We tried Sprout when we were traveling and Noah liked it pretty well. I did like the fact that it was all organic, but I found the pouches to be a pain to get all the food out of. Plus it was more expensive than the Earth’s Best food, which comes in glass. ;)
We have a baby food book called The Best Homemade Baby Food on the planet and it has great ideas and how to prepare your own simple baby food! I reviewed it here:

Bummer to hear about the bad luck with photos lately. =( But you got some cute pic right there. I never heard of Sprouts. No babies to test it on right now though. I’ll pass the info on to expecting friends. ;)
