For one day only – TODAY, November 9th, 2009 – you can get a membership to ListPlanIt.com for half off the regular price, in celebration of Jennifer’s birthday! Jennifer, aka List Mama, is the creator and #1 user of ListPlanIt.com. Check out her birthday special.
Now, I received a membership to ListPlanIt from Jennifer, but I have yet to really use it… I’m hoping that we can get better organized this Holiday season, as we prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I guess this is as good a time as any to begin to take the time to put things on paper! ListPlanIt offers an uncluttered, organized place to do that, so it should be perfect!
Jennifer realizes that as busy moms we need all the help we can get she has also offered a membership to my friends here at From Dates to Diapers! That’s right! You can win one of TWO memberships just by leaving me a comment here, by 9pm (pst) on November 20th, telling me how you use lists – Do you make a list for everything and can’t live without them?
What are you waiting for? Start making your lists today!

I love lists! but I want to ask Jennifer a question – is it better to make short lists to feel like you accomplished something every day – or just one long list?
Dina,
Great question! In my opinion they both have their place, but I prefer to use a long list as a more long term solution. More like goals. A long list tends to be overwhelming in the day to day. Break it down, if possible. Have a long list for the week, but then break it down by day to make it more manageable. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Thanks for taking the time to ask!

I THINK in lists, charts, and forms to the point it is a handicap at times! I sit down and can type and format something far faster than writing it out and then hopefully save it somewhere on my computer where I can remember it later. It gets truly cumbersome to try and remember what name I saved things under though to find them later. I’m going to check out ListPlanIt.com It might be my answer!
I make list for everything. I have a list of the top 10 things I need to do as well as a calendar/diary with lists for groceries, things I want, gifts, what to do for something and where to go, etc! I love list and love to keep organized with them. I feel lost if I don’t have my list available.
I am such a list maker! I make lists for everything! My son called paper, “list” when he was a toddler. Whenever he wanted to draw, he’d ask me for a list.
Lists keep me organized and help me get things done!
i really only makes lists for grocery shopping
i love making lists! i use them for everything – groceries, my coupons, organizing, cleaning, on and on!
I find myself making lists all the time for groceries, Christmas gifts, and daily tasks. Now if only I can remember to take my list with me when I leave the house…
What a great concept. I make lists on little pieces of paper all the time for everything from food to things for the kids school to where I need to be when – then I tend to loose them!
i make lists for everything to the point where my husband gets irritated with me
I try to make lists and stick to them but I usually fail miserably.
I am just starting to use lists for everything. I have found that they really help me organize. My life was completely disorganized before. I would LOVE to win this!
I make lists to keep track of everything, if its not organized then i dont do it well
i love making lists and learn them too
