Not sure if you remember, but back in April I was one of 15 bloggers invited to the Nestlé Culinary Institute in Solon, OH. We had the opportunity to hear from top experts in parenting and psychology and even got to meet Celebrity Chef, Antonia Lofaso!
I had an amazing time with the folks from Nestlé, as well as with some of my good bloggy friends. I would be thrilled if you checked out the highlights from our day ::
The fine folks at Nestlé / Stouffer’s sent some fun little goodies home with me and I would love to pass some of them on to one of you, so you can capture your own dinner time memories! I have a Flip MinoHD, and a Family Dinner Box of Questions and here’s what you need to do to enter to win them:
- Leave me a comment here, telling me what you and your family love about dinner time. Do you carve out time in your busy day to eat together? Have you created any traditions around this last meal of the day?
You may do each of the following for additional entries, but each entry must be left in a separate comment to qualify:
- Tweet about this giveaway, using the hashtag #D2Dgvwy and the following link :: http://bit.ly/7cbDf. You can do this every day during the duration of this giveaway for a separate entry!

Dinner is not always together. That’s fine. At some point in the day we all all together to update each other on our lives.
My family and I share what happened throughout our day at dinner. It is the only time of day we are actually home as a whole family.

We eat dinner together almost every night. We get to relax, eat a good meal and talk about our days.
We have dinner together even if it’s at eight o’clock!

Th eonly tradition we created is if I cook, he cleans and vice versa. We do carve out time to eat together as a family. It is important to have that time where there are no distractions and we can talk about what is going on in all of our daily lives.
I make dinner almost 7 days a week. I enjoy puttering around in the kitchen and making something my family can enjoy together.
We do try to ensure that everyone can make it home for dinner so we can eat together.
Thanks for the giveaway!

What me and my family love about dinner time is the chance to talk and to experience food from other cultures. We are always trying different cuisines and enjoy Indian, Japanese, Spanish, Mexican, Greek and Turkish…and the list goes on. We don’t get the chance to travel, but this is fine for the time being. Thanks!
Although my family is quite busy, we try to eat together at the table at least once a week. We sit and talk about what’s been going on in our lives and have a great time!
love getting everyone together to hear about their day
I love dinner time because it gives my daughter and me a chance to become creative together and whip up something delicious!
we love dinner time because it is a chance for us all to get together and tell what our day was like. we play a The Dinner Game…which encourages conversation and eating.
We try to eat supper together daily.
We love being able to cook together, especially with the herbs and vegetables gathered from our garden.
We all sit at the table together when we can, unfortunately schedules make it difficult. when we can we make sure to enjoy it though.
The best part of dinnertime is the food!
dinnertime is no tv time and time when we talk about our day.

What’s the saying, build it and and they will come. I think this also applies to dinner, make an effort to put a meal on the table and the family will come together.
What I love about dinner time is that it is a time to relax, and learn about what everyone has done for the day

Dinner in our house isn’t what I wish it was. Most of the time we eat in front of the computer while working on articles or other things. I’m really hoping to get away from that though. Thanks for the great giveaway!
We eat dinner together daily and enjoy hearing about each other’s day.
When my husband was alive we ate dinner together but since I have been working two jobs my children and I only eat together if I set a date to go out to diner.
We love just being together and the quiet time shared talking about our daily lives.
