Do you watch Oprah? Did you know that Tom Cruise will be on today’s show? Actually, the show first aired back in May, but it is special because it shows that dreams really can come true. Let me tell you how it happened for my good friend, Katja…
Last Christmas, Katja had the opportunity to fill a basket with goodies, from her online children’s store, Skimbaco, to be gifted to the Cruise family by a mutual friend. In that basket Katja placed many items, one of which was a darling little pair of Monkey Toes Ladybug Mary Janes.
Fast forward to May, when Oprah visited Tom Cruise in his Telluride mountain home. As they walked inside his amazing house and in to the mudroom, Oprah spied Suri’s adorable ladybug shoes and picked up the shoes – the very pair Katja placed in that Christmas basket. Tom Cruise then said with a smile, “Ladybugs are Suri’s favorites.”
Not only did hundreds of moms hit google to try to find “Suri’s ladybug shoes,” but Katja turned the magic of the situation into an opportunity to help others.
“I am a mompreneur and mommy blogger, just like everyone else. I just work hard, help others and do what I love. I hope that my ladybug luck will be an example for all the mompreneurs out there – if this could happen to me, it can happen to you too. Just keep working, and believing and doing what you are passionate about.”
After this big event, Katja started Ladybug Landings, a blog focused on PR. She started focusing more on helping other mompreneurs & bloggers through her PR work. Katja aslo opened a Cafe Press store of the same name, where bloggers can join as an affiliate. All proceeds from this new store make it possible for Katja to offer free consulting to mompreneurs.
As Katja says, “ladybugs bring luck,” and she is making the best of her laybug luck. As a PR consultant, who has been so positively effected by Oprah, Tom Cruise and ladybug shoes, Katja is the person to have on your side!

i seen the shoes be for well thay where showed on opra show and well i had knowed then that thay would be a big hit in fact i think all her shoes are realy sweet i wished i could get my hands on a pair my self for my little one thay are just too sweet

I do watch Oprah, I have watched almost all the shows that have been aired till that!
