My Labor Day was productive. I have sore muscles and paint stains to prove it!
I finally started painting our almost two-year-old house. Ray and I were tired of the fingerprints and marks all over the walls. You know, the marks that won’t come off of flat paint just short of scrubbing the texture off. Or, were we the only ones who can’t keep walls white?
Home Depot was having a special mail-in rebate offer on their Behr paint, through yesterday, so we scored some pretty good paint for $5 off per gallon. We went with a very neutral color – Harvest Brown. It highlights the lightest colors in our floor and fireplace tiles. I love it, and it was so worth the aches and pains I feel today… Our home finally feels homey!
