JumpStart 3D Adventure (A Giveaway!)

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on December 3, 2008

Are you looking for a gift for a little guy who loves to play on the computer? Both educational and fun, Jumpstart 3D Virtual World is perfect for ages 3-5. In My First Adventure, your little explorer can run, jump and swim through an amazing 3D virtual world.

Josh, my 4 year old, really enjoys playing My First Adventure. He created a character that looks like him, he’s designed his own house in a fun and musical neighborhood, and loves exploring this 3D world. I like the fact that he is practicing recognition of his letters and shapes, all the while having fun!

Just a few days ago JumpStart.com was introduced as a place to enjoy a fully interactive, safe, 3D virtual world. This new family membership model includes a multitude of benefits to kids including unlimited access to the entire JumpStart Virtual World for all kids in the family, downloadable game content, printable coloring sheets, movies & music videos, and the ability to earn rewards that can be used in the real world.

To celebrate the launch, JumpStart is hosting a Jumpee (avatar) contest for three months starting in mid-December where kids can create their own avatars and submit them online at JumpStart.com for a chance to win prizes daily, including free annual memberships, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. One grand prize winner will be chosen to have their Jumpee star in a future JumpStart Virtual World adventure and receive a college scholarship from JumpStart.

We love to play matching games right now. My almost 3 year old loves to match whatever she can into groups by colors, shapes, anything she can!

This game sounds like so much fun. Especially now that she is a computer nut!

Thank you!

Our kids are still a little too young for board games but I am sure that Monopoly will be a hit since Dustin loves it, my favorite to play with the kids is Hi Ho Cherry O, it brings back found childhood memories playing with mom… Fun times!

Our family plays a lot of volleyball. My immediate family- I have newborns, but for family gatherings we get together on teams to play volleyball. I love that game, in the sand is 10 X better.

The one game that has brought my family alot closer is a card game called ‘hand and foot’ its alot like canasta and you can play 4-8 people, so my family would get together on Sunday afternoons and play this card game.

I love Skipbo, its always a lot of fun! We are trying to teach the youngest to play but she can’t yet :(

I like Skipbo because it is a game that all of us enjoy rather than something I feel forced to play!
