This Mother’s Day, in honor of their 2nd annual Spot A Mom campaign, 1-800-FLOWERS.com has scoured the blogosphere and has “spotted” several moms, the first two being women I know and love.
Well, last week I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from 1-800-FLOWERS.com as well as CEO Jim McCann’s new book, Celebrating Mom. And, just today I was featured by Floral Lifestyle Expert, Julie Mulligan, on her blog. Yup, I was “spotted” as a “Do-It-All Mom”! I hope you will hop over and read about how my own Mom inspired me and the lesson I hope to pass on to my children.
Bouquet created for fellow Do-It-All Mom Louise
I was very excited to be able to pay it forward and suggest a wonderful blogger friend to be ”
spotted,” but you’ll just have to watch Julie Mulligan’s blog to find out who it is!
But, I have a surprise for YOU, too! 1-800-FLOWERS.com would like to give one of you a copy of Celebrating Mom along with a $75 gift certificate!

My best Mother’s Day was last year, I had just given birth to me second son four days before.
The greatest lesson my mom taught me was how to read. She read to me from the time I was a baby, and by the time I was three or four years old, I was starting to read children’s books by myself. From my mother, I learned to love reading, and it has given me hours (probably years by this time) of adventure, romance and learning.

What’s your favorite Mother’s Day memory?
Teaching me how to cook.
The greatest lesson my mom has taught me is the importance of hard work.
I love the Martha Stewart Mother’s Grand Bouquet because it looks very nice!
