Inside the Diaper

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on September 18, 2008

We’re a big fan of Huggies around here… Huggies have seen us through four babies and is currently protecting 2 more (as well as our carpets). We’re hoping to graduate Ben to Pull-Ups here in the next few weeks, as we prepare him for the big step of being potty trained. I’ve always believed that once you start the training you should never go back to diapers, except for maybe at night, so it’s taking me a while to gear up for this one!

Have you seen the Huggies “Inside the Diaper” commercial? It’s pretty funny… Having had 5 baby boys, I can totally relate. If you haven’t seen it, you really should take a look. You may get a good laugh, especially if you don’t have any boys of your own!

Huggies is giving 10 Jumbo packs of diapers to my From Dates to Diapers readers! That means 5 of you will win two packs each!

Here’s how to enter:

  • View the “Inside the Diaper” video clip above, then leave me a comment on this post, before 9pm (pacific) on October 10th, with what you thought of it.
  • For an extra entry in the random drawing, feel free to subscribe to my blog feed , but you must remain a subscriber at least through the duration of this contest. Make sure you leave me a separate comment saying you subscribed.
  • 5 lucky commenters, each chosen at random, will win two coupons that are each good for a Jumbo pack of Huggies diapers. The winners will be notified via email, so make sure you leave a valid email address in your comment.

Good luck!

This giveaway is now closed. Winners will be notified soon.

The video was pretty funny but towards the end was kinda gross if ya think about it. The baby was outstanding!! Its important to note that this wouldn’t have happened with a women! After 3 kids and 1 on the way my husbend is still clueless with diaper changes…he needs my help a lot!! haha. Thanks for the entry babysmamatimes3[at]yahoo[dot]com.

I remember seeing that commercial on TV. It is hilarious because it is so true. I wish I had a dollar for every time Bear peed on or around me.

I love how “Dad” keeps licking his LIPS while being drenched in urine! Gross!

I have two boys and a girl. 1in “Big Boy” undies, 1 in Pull-Ups, and 1 in diapers. Yes, brand names are different!

We are huggies users here too. My husband has yet to change our daughter because he is not comfortable with doing that for a girl. But he says he will if number 2 is a boy – and boy am I ready for the day that little one pees all over him!

That is so funny!! I have a 15 month old son. I’ve tried other diapers, and they just don’t do it for me. Huggies Supreme Natural Fit really are the BEST diapers. I know I sound like a commercial, but I won’t use anything else. All the other diapers seem thin and flimsy next to them.

Reply

Anonymous September 18, 2008 at 7:58 pm

It was probably lemonade shooting out of a hose people!! If that baby really pee’d that hard he’s be a baby race horse.

Reply

I think it’s hilarious! I saw it on tv several times. I think it might be a little less funny when I’ve had my own baby boy in November… Hope I win! I love Huggies! Thanks for the great giveaway!

Boys = Huggies! Absolutely, without question!!! This video reminded me of my friend that had a little boy way before I had mine. We were changing his diaper and of course he started peeing on her as soon as the cool air hit. She started cracking up (having little to no bladder control after just having a baby) and began hopping around because the laughter was making her actually pee in her pants. She hobbled to the bathroom, I held the baby and we haven’t laughed that much since!!!

Oh, I remember the first time I watched this video, I thought it was a riot. It reminded me of a few diapering incidents with our first born; not with the excessive and forceful amounts of fluid, but just the shock that this mini geyser was attached to my small son. Yes, I was a rookie mom.

Ha ha ha, that was so funny!! We had our son just 5 weeks back. Our first being a daughter, diapering this time is totally different. Of course those “sprays” have happened quite a bit and always took us by surprise. What cracks me up is how nonchalant my son looks while all of us are screaming and desperately trying to find something to clean ourselves with.
