I have a story about my mother-in-law, Ruth, that cracks me up every time I think of it…
One evening my husband and I were sitting in the kitchen, talking to my in-laws about television shows, and what channels we usually watch. My husband, who is usually a big fan of the History channel and the like, mentioned that he knew I would be content just to watch Nick at Nite. My mother-in-law, thinking he had expressed his interest in this particular station, then proceeded to verbally reprimand Ray about the shows he chooses to watch and told him that he needed to be careful, especially with children in the house. Ray and I couldn’t understand why Ruth was getting so upset, but finally discovered that she thought he said “naked night”!!! We were in tears, from laughing so hard!
