Ever since I was a little girl, I would watch the ice skaters dance on the ice, in awe. As they glided and twirled, I wished that I could be as graceful and elegant as they were. And then one of those talented skaters would jump up and spin a triple lutz and my heart would skip a beat!
As I watch now, I also see the dedication and hard work that goes in to being the greatest skater, and I’m sure I still have no idea the tremendous sacrifices these young people face. But, they ARE great and they are still envied by little girls everywhere!
This Christmas Day, as the turkey is roasting and the pies are baking, we will be watching Hot Ice, Cool Sounds, the special ice skating extravaganza on NBC, presented by Smucker’s. The show starts at 3pm (est) on NBC, and with skaters as great as Brian Boitano, Sacha Cohen, Jamie Sale & David Pelletier, this show is sure to please.
There will also be a special musical guest on the show… Peter Cetera will be dazzling viewers with his cool sounds!
