Little Miss Julia has been begging me to take her for a special “girl’s night” to see Hannah Montana The Movie, which debuted in theaters last week.
The movie sounds pretty cute – Miley gets too caught up in the celebrity lifestyle and starts letting her alter ego “Hannah Montana” dominate her life. Her Dad decides she’s forgetting what’s most important to her and sends her back to Crowley Corners. There she gets quite the dose of reality and falls in love with “home.” I’m thinking a “girl’s night” sounds good!
When I was offered some of the new line of Hannah Montana toys to review, from JAKKS Pacific, Inc (winner of Walmart’s Vendor of the Year Award), I couldn’t resist… I knew Julia would flip over all this Hannah stuff! I couldn’t wait ’til her birthday, so she received quite the surprise just out o’ the blue.
Here’s what has kept Julia busy the last few days:

My soon to be 6 year old loves Hannah Montana. At Christmas, she wanted one of the singing dolls, but I had already gotten her all her presents so I told her she was too young. Her birthday is coming up and I know she would just beam if I got this for her.
My 7 year old daughter is convinced that she can be Hannah Montana if she decides she wants to. I love her self confidence and wish I had half of it!! She would be thrilled to have it because she loves anything related to Hannah!!

I have two girls, and they are diva’s! They LOVE Hannah Montanna! They are always walking around singing, anything. Most of the time they ‘rest’ with their mp3 players and they are singing! I love it, most of the time! They would think this is tooo coool!

My just-turned-ten daughter loves the show, and the music (of course, she knows all of the lyrics from both of her Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus CD’s as does now everyone in the house
). She has every picture she has ever come across in a magazine of HM, cut out and taped on her walls, closet doors, and door, in her bedroom. My daughter would love this. We saw HM on opening night, she got so wrapped up in the movie she was waving her arms and dancing in the aisle. She showed me how magical a movie is to a child.

My little rock star actually has an old wiggles guitar she writes songs on! Also the movie was awesome…we were the only people there with 4 adults and 1 kid but heck we have been watching the show since episode one. DD’s name is Hannah so… once she wore her Hannah wig to Cracker Barrel and we got several people to ask for her “autograph” she totally loved it!

The little rockstar in my life recently turned 8 years old. In fact, her birthday party was all about making a rock music video with her and her friends as the stars.
