More Time

I was trying to figure out, as we near Mother’s Day, what one thing would make my life as a mom easier and I concluded that it had to be more time. How many of you can agree? With more time I could play and laugh with my kiddos more, I could enjoy all of the little moments that make being a mom so enjoyable, I could write that book or even learn how to take kick-butt pictures. Wow, what a great thing more time would be.
Frigidaire recently conducted a survey to get a window into moms’ lives. The Frigidaire Motherload Index revealed that moms spend most of their waking lives – 200 hours each month, in fact – doing the activities we least enjoy rather than the things we love, yet the majority of us say we “rarely” or “never” feel caught up on our household tasks.
All of this was kept in mind when Frigidaire was designing their new appliances – a brilliant new collection with more than 250 kitchen and laundry appliances, just in time for Mother’s Day! From what I hear these high-performance products are not only easy-to-use, but have incredible time-saving features to give us moms more free time away from the kitchen and laundry room. I am drooling over the six-minute PowerPlus™ preheat time on their ovens, a Quick Clean dishwashing cycle that cuts the time it takes in half to clean our dishes, the Fits-More™ Dryer that allows us to dry the whole family’s clothes at once, and TimeWise™ technology to make the dryer and washing cycle equal. With all of those great time-saving features we can have enough time to watch our favorite shows—or even better—cuddle up with the kiddos!
Frigidaire has so much confidence in the efficiency of these products that they are offering the “More Me-Time” Guarantee: Moms will reduce the amount of time they typically spend on housework by at least 8 hours a month using a combination of three or more select Frigidaire appliances or they can return the appliances to their place of purchase within 30 days and get their money back!
Looks like my wish for more time is about to come true… in just a few weeks, thanks to Mom Central and the team of marketers behind Frigidaire, I am going to receive an entire suite of new appliances as part of Frigidaire’s Super Influencer Test Drive Team! So, are the posts you make about these products going to be influenced by the fact that you received them for free? Of course they will. Most people who paid full price would have much higher expectations of a product than if they used their hard-earned money to purchase it. I think this kind of viral marketing is unfair to consumers and doesn’t give them the real picture of how the item performs.
