Finding Balance on Vacation with #TMOM

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on May 3, 2013

There is so much to think about when planning a vacation. All of the many things I think about here at home, I have to keep in mind on the road, too. As the mom of a large family, it’s vital to find accomodations that are comfortable enough for all of us. Is there a place for us to make meals, if we decide to eat a lunch or dinner in? Are there fun activities available nearby? A pool?

We have never stayed in a Residence Inn by Marriot, but I hear great things from friends who have. In fact, they have the perfect setup for families, including a fully equipped in-suite kitchen and free grocery delivery! The folks at Residence Inn are also doing great things to help mom’s plan that perfect vacation and find balance on the road.

I just joined Residence Inn’s brand new Family Travel Talk forum on Facebook and I’m looking forward to checking in throughout the year to learn new and helpful tips and even share our own experiences. I’d love to see you there!

In fact, I’d be thrilled if you would join the #TMOM Twitter party on Monday evening to chat with me and others about finding balance both at home and on the road. (Residence Inn is giving away two $200 gift cards for stays at Residence Inn, and a grand prize of one Cat Cora byStarfrit 12-Piece Stackable Stainless Steel Cookware Set!)
