Mother’s Day Giveaway #3 {PictureMate Show}

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on May 3, 2010

For the Picture-Loving Mom

picturemate

Just the other day, I was lamenting over the fact that I have over 7 years worth of digital photos that have never been printed. Digital memories of every special occasion, milestone, and even the daily “mundane” are stored forever on flash drives and CDs, waiting to be printed.

Well, I’m venturing to bet that with the arrival of our new PictureMate Show the wait is about over. Zach and Ethan helped me unpack and set up this new little machine and have been itching to print out our photos, which would once again bring to life our memories.

I did let them help me print out a few, for the sake of enabling me to write a genuine review and I have to say that we were all impressed with the ease of the process – from inserting our memory card to choosing the photo to be printed to cropping and printing. And, the quality of the finished product? Well, each photo came out clear, crisp and beautiful!

Here are some of the fun features of the PictureMate Show::

  • 2-in-1, digital photo frame and compact photo printer
  • 12 slide show options for added versatility
  • Print your favorite photos, PC-free
  • Photos may be printed in various photo sizes, black-and-white or sepia
  • Create custom photo sizes
  • Easily edit photos — crop, remove red eye, and more
  • Print stacks of photos at an everyday, low print price
  • Ideal for any room — fits perfectly into your livingroom, kitchen or home office

I like the fact that its a 2-in-1, digital photo frame and compact photo printer.
The ink is Smudge, fade and water resistant.
The prints are durable and last up to 4x longer than traditional, film processed photos.

Although I’ve added the PictureMate Zoom to my wish list this one would be awesome to win. I like the fact that they are portable so they are easy to take when visiting family, who for us is many hours away. I like the idea of not having to remember to print and send photos once I get home. This one is very nice as it could site and show the slideshow that my kids see in a little box on my computer desktop, so maybe I’d actually be able to work without a little one on my lap always asking, “MOMMY, what is that picture!” Thanks for the chance.
