Eggs – Are they all they’re cracked up to be?

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on November 8, 2008

Over the last 30 days, as I’ve partnered with the American Egg Board, you have heard me talk a whole lot about eggs. I have shared some scrumptious recipes, all including eggs. I’ve kept track of the results from eating eggs every morning (in various forms). I’ve talked about buying eggs, storing eggs, preparing eggs, and even some tips to save time in the kitchen. I’ve explained the nutritional value of eggs, and other affordable and healthy foods. And, of course, I’ve shared some about grocery budgets and shopping with the kiddos.

Even though my breakfast challenge is coming to an end, I do hope that the tips and first-hand experiences I’ve shared have inspired you to include protein-rich foods as part of your breakfast. You truly will see many important benefits, like more energy, a desire to eat better throughout the day, and feeling full longer. All of these benefits provide more opportunities for you to have FUN with your kiddos!

Wouldn’t you agree that the egg is certainly all it’s cracked up to be?

My kids love eggs. So they would have to agree!

I agree! We are going through so many eggs now. I am having to boil larger amounts at a time. Everyone wants to get in the fridge and grab an egg. :)
