Delight Cleaning {giveaway}

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on January 5, 2010

Delight-Cleaning-125x125We recently had the privilege of publishing a guest post from Ray La Point, owner of Delight Cleaning. Ray’s company provides professional carpet cleaning, natural stone care and house cleaning.

Just after I posted some of his tips and tricks, Ray came out and cleaned all of the carpets on the first level of our house. Boy, what a difference his hard work made! Our carpets had not been that clean since the day we moved in, I’m certain! In fact, we were so happy with the results that we have them coming out again this week to do the upstairs. (I’ll try to post pictures this time.)

Delight Cleaning is based here in the Sacramento area, BUT you don’t have to live in the Sacramento area to benefit from Delight Cleaning and all they have to offer. At the Delight Cleaning blog you can find ways to prevent and clean up spills and protect your carpets, as well as some fabulous cleaning tips.

The hardest room to keep clean is definitely the kitchen. I am always having to put other people’s dirty dishes away, sweep up crumbs, and wipe off counters. It’s a contant battle!

Thank Ray for me : I added his cleaning tips to my Favs ! It’s rather a toss-up between the kitchen & the bathroom for being the worst to clean. As I am always at the kitchen sink, I suppose the kitchen gets the better of my attention. So the bathroom is only noticed when you have time to spend, lol, such as waing for the water to get hot. I can’t wait to get the prize pack from you & Ray, so I can start cleaning the right way!

The hardest area for me to keep clean is the bathroom. Other parts of the house can be straightened up as I go, but I feel like I have to set apart time to deal with the bathroom. Plus it gets dirty faster.

Shelly January 24, 2010 at 5:17 pm

Without a doubt, the kitchen!

Tara Williams January 24, 2010 at 6:46 pm

The family room, specifically the coffee table. It stays covered in kids toys and spilt drinks.

Ellen Ring January 24, 2010 at 10:23 pm

Our family room is the hardest to keep clean. that’s where the kids play the animals spend their day & my husband slobs out.

Jessica P. January 24, 2010 at 10:24 pm

I hate cleaning the bathroom…and it always seems to need to be cleaned.

My kitchen is the hardest for me to keep clean. As a homemaker and a vegan, I try to cook everything from scratch so I am almost always in the kitchen cooking. It’s in a constant state of “almost clean”.

The hardest area in my home to keep clean are the kitchen counters. They get cleaned numerous times a day. But it seems like as soon as I get them cleaned someone is hungry, fixes themselves a snack and leaves a mess. So I clean them again and again.
THank you so much for the chance to win.

The kitchen floor gets the most traffic and is definitely the hardest to keep clean between kids and pets.

Amy January 27, 2010 at 10:32 pm

I know you mean what room – but for me the part of the house hardest to clean is the floors. My three year old still goes into very real, tear filled hysterics from the vacuum.

Erika January 28, 2010 at 10:35 pm

The Kitchen…hands down. Mine is very small, two people is a crowd! And I cook extravagantly so every dish in the kitchen is dirty by the time we’re done eating.

Arla January 29, 2010 at 2:25 am

Well thats a toss up I guess but I’ll say the Living room.

juau4 January 29, 2010 at 2:29 am

The kitchen is always cluttered! It’s difficult to keep-up with because everyone deposits stuff there.

Tracey Byram January 29, 2010 at 6:31 am

The kitchen is the hardest to keep clean. I’m the only person in the house that cleans up behind myself and the kitchen is always busy.
