Conversations with a 3 year old

Laura is fun, funny, and has the most adorable little girls! I am happy to have her conversation with her daughter documented here… Hopefully it will make you chuckle!

I am a 32 year old full time working mom to two girls. They are Riley, who is 3.5 years old, and Taylor, who just turned 2. I am married to Brian and we live in WI. My site is Confessions of a Diet Coke Addict where I talk about my life as a working mom.

We were driving to my mom’s one day so that I could drop my daughter off before I went to work. This was the conversation in the car:

R: “Mama, do you have quiet time at work?”

Me: (chuckle) “Unfortunately, no.”

R: “Do you get naptime?”

Me: “Nope.”

R: “Do you have beds at work?”

Me: (another chuckle) “Nope, but I wish.”

R: “Does Daddy get nap time at work?”

Me: “I don’t think so.”

She then dropped the conversation. Not sure where that whole thing came from but I sure got a kick out it.

I can’t make this stuff up….
