I recently told you about a program where kids can bowl for free. Remember? Well, what I noticed was that there wasn’t a great selection of local bowling centers. In fact, the closest was about 40 minutes away. Not too bad for a single outing this summer, but we certainly wouldn’t be able to make best use of the special program.
Well, AMF’s Summer Unplugged program is very similar and has included great bowling center locations. One of which happens to be much closer to us. Score!
So, here’s the lowdown:
At select AMF centers, you can get two free games of bowling per day for kids 16 and under, now through Monday, September 5 (Labor Day). (Shoe rental not included, but they’re worth paying for.)
Just select a participating center (over 200 locations) and complete the simple registration form. You will receive your free game coupons every Sunday for the following week, via email – it’s that simple!
In addition, families of registered kids, can pay a one-time payment of $27.95 which buys 2 games per day for 4 people all summer long – it’s the AMF Summer 17 Plus Pass.
Looks like we’ll be bowling for strikes a lot this summer. Do you have any tips for us?
I participated in this campaign as a member of One2One Network and am eligible for a prize drawing. All opinions stated in the post are my own.

Are you looking for fun, creative and inexpensive things to do this summer? Me, too. So, I was excited to hear about Kids Bowl Free.

Kids Bowl Free is an amazing program that was designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Families can get two FREE games for up to six children per day. Even though we still have to pay for the shoe rentals, that’s a savings of about $25 per day, just for my kids!
The kids are free, but what about me?
We were actually given a family pass. With the family pass up to four adults can bowl 2 games with the kids every day, all summer. You can purchase the family pass for just $24.95 per family. This is an unbelievable deal, no? Again the family pass is good for up to 4 adult family members, which means you can sign up Mom, Dad, Older Siblings, Grandma, Grandpa or an adult babysitter to bowl with the kids.
Each participating bowling center has a limited amount of family passes available and when they are gone, they are gone. So, hurry!

Last weekend my lovely neighbor, Donna, spent hours filling buckets of colorful water balloons. Her time was spent simply so we could watch our kids, and hers, pelt and soak each other in a matter of minutes!
So.Much.Fun.

Thank you, Donna!!

If you read my maternity fashion post from the other day, you will not be surprised to hear that I have never owned a maternity swimsuit. Now, before you assume that I don a tank and a pair of shorts to the pool, let me tell you that I don’t have a problem bearing my belly. Shocker, I know.
As you can imagine, I was thrilled when Lands’ End approached me and asked if I would like to choose a swimsuit and tell you about it. Now, they don’t sell maternity wear, but I didn’t have a hard time building my “perfect suit.”
On LandsEnd.com I went directly to the Mix & Match Separates and chose a Beach Living combo – the Sweetheart Bikini Top and the Ruffle Mini SwimMini – both shown here and both on sale!
I wore my new suit for the first time last week and could not be happier… This combo is comfortable, modest, and flatters even a very pregnant body. I’d show you a picture of me wearing the suit, but that would be a shocker!
If you’re anything like me and wait until summer is half over to hit the pool, or if you want to stock up for next year, check out the great sale at Lands’ End – You can save 40% or more on swimwear for the whole family!
