Smooshies are a fun way to inspire imagination during your kiddos’ play time. These colorful, plush toys are award winning, having received the 2009 Creative Child Preferred Choice Award and Dr. Toy Best Vacation Children’s Product for 2009!

You may be wondering, “What are Smooshies?”

Well, with Smooshies your kiddos can create anything they can imagine, with plush parts – a friend, a monster, a dog, a robot, or an alien from another planet. They simply choose a body, arms, legs, facial features, even antennae or wings, and attach them wherever they like. Easy Velcro tabs allow kids to create and recreate unique characters, mixing and matching all the body parts, in an infinite number of ways. When they’re done, they just pull the pieces off and start all over again!

As you can see, even my older kiddos had fun creating their own “monsters”! Check it out ::

Proficiency

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on November 6, 2008

For the work-at-home mom, a scanner and fax machine are a must.

For the teacher, a copy machine is invaluable.

For the writer and photographer, a good printer is a priceless tool.

I have many jobs, and at different times throughout the day I am that work-at-home mom, that teacher, that writer, that photographer.

Epson has made my job easier by creating the Artisan 800. This all-in-one virtual assistant provides premium performance and is available to me, at the touch of a finger, to perform tasks that previously required four machines, and time I didn’t have.

Not only have I felt a sense of ease, when performing tasks, but I have discovered my epsonality… I am now creating notepaper, photo layouts, and notecards. I may even design our Christmas cards this year, with the help of nothing more than my Artisan 800!

Many thanks to One2One Network for donating an Epson Artisan 800 to help raise money during my Gal to Gal virtual walk party!

Taking Chances

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on October 15, 2008

Ray got plenty of ribbing from the guys because of where we went for our date night last night. I think they were really all secretly wishing they could have taken their wives to see a pop diva! Or, perhaps they just weren’t willing to take a chance.

My husband, who is now the envy of all of my married girl friends, accompanied me to Celine Dion’s very first concert in Sacramento. Actually, we were both kind of excited to have such a fun way to spend the evening.

Celine’s world tour, “Taking Chances,” encompasses 5 continents, 25 countries and 88 cities. Her 7 1/2 year old son has been traveling with her, “tour-schooling” along the way, as has her 81 year-old mother…. Amazing!

It is very clear that Celine enjoys performing – she interacted with the audience, had fun with the dances and belted out that amazing soprano voice of hers! In some ways she reminded Ray and me of Julia, with her dramatic arm swings and theatrical moves.

All in all, it was a terrific show and an extremely fun night!

Thank you, One2One Network, for making our date night so much fun!
