Unruly, "Knotty" Hair vs Beautiful, Silky Locks

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on July 30, 2007

I was a bald little one, until I was two – which is really quite surprising considering that since then I have always had a very thick and wavy head of hair. As a little girl, I remember my Mom spending so much time brushing, pulling and braiding my hair! My daughter inherited my thick, wavy hair and now I spend, what seems like hours, brushing, pulling and braiding her long locks!

From the time I could brush Julia’s tiny ringlets, I would spray Suave’s Kids’ Detangling Spray on her hair, hoping to avoid the screams of agony that I so fondly remember. But, the other day I decided to try Johnson’s No More Tangles. Big mistake! While it smells sweet, I was bitterly disappointed in it’s performance. It was like spraying water on her head, with about the same result… No decrease in tangles!

So, I’m off to Target today, just to purchase another bottle of our beloved Detangling Spray (of the Suave kind)… With my daughters tresses, we just can’t be without!!
