Putting the Dyson Digital Slim to the Test

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on April 30, 2011

We’ve been making good use of the Dyson DC35 that we recently received for review. More accurately, my kids have been making good use of it. But, only because they beg to clean up any mess they see with this cool looking machine!

This video will show you a quick look at the Dyson design and tests lab. Pretty interesting stuff!

I have yet to use this cordless vac much, but I will soon give my thoughts. Dyson actually sent us some challenges, so we could really put the Dyson DC35 to the test. Stay tuned to see how I think it did!

Introducing The Dyson DC35 Digital Slim

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on April 25, 2011

The folks at Dyson just recently sent me (and my fellow Walmart Moms) their newest cordless vacuum to try out and tell you about. So far I’m lovin’ it and I’ll tell you about it soon. For right now, take a look at the video they created just for us and our readers::

So, what do you think – do you think you could put this vacuum to use in your home?

Transformers: Vacuums in Disguise (Dyson DC25 Giveaway!)

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on June 20, 2009

Last year we had the privilege of reviewing one of the best vacuums ever – The Dyson DC25. I discussed how easy it is to maneuver, and how it cut down on allergies in the air. Zach and Ray even created a fun video displaying how well this Dyson Ball vac moves. This short clip still makes me laugh out loud!

Well, you can imagine how excited my kiddos and I were to discover that the vacuum we have used (and abused) is making it’s Hollywood debut next week. That’s right, the Dyson DC25 makes an appearance as a Decepticon robot in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. My boys always said that our vacuum reminded them of a robot. Maybe that’s why they loved to vacuum!

We’re not sure what the DC25-cum-robot looks like in the movie, but thanks to my friends at Dyson I was directed to some of the speculations ::

Dyson DC25 to the Rescue!

by Christine - From Dates to Diapers on September 2, 2008

I know I teased you with hopes of a Dyson review months ago. First, I’ll get this started by offering this little video Ray and Zach created for ya’ll…

Hehehe. They had fun with that one, and I still laugh every time I watch it!! Okay, now down to serious business…

As you can see in the above video, the Dyson Ball DC25 All Floors is incredibly easy to handle. If you ever thought that an easy to maneuver, picks up anything, vacuum was not to be found, think again! This powerful little sucker ate my daughter’s brand new birthstone necklace, from DeAnna Cochran, just seconds after she received it. No joke… It was digested to smithereens!

But, part of the reason why I waited so long to give my thoughts on the Dyson Ball was because I was quite curious about whether or not vacuuming with this bag-less wonder would really cut back on the allergens in the air, thus cutting back the asthma attacks. I knew it was a powerful and easy-to-handle vacuum, but would it really help our breathing?

You know what? It did.

In fact, not only are the Dyson uprights certified asthma & allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, but the air expelled from a Dyson vacuum has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you typically breathe. I would have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the reality of these facts and truly noticed a marked improvement in my asthmatic family.

A plus to having the Dyson Ball in our house: The kids love to vacuum!
