There are some big things happening at the Disneyland Resort!

Will you join me (here and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) as I attend Disney’s media event this week? Here’s a preview of what we will be checking out –

Fantasy Faire – an enchanting, immersive storybook world that extends Fantasyland. Disney Princesses await Disneyland park guests at the new Fantasy Faire and brings their timeless tales to life in fun and surprising ways.

DL fantasy faire sketches Guests will be treated to an interactive storytelling experience with vaudeville-style Renaissance storytellers at the Royal Theatre. There will be two different shows at the Royal Theatre: the tales of Rapunzel (“Tangled”) and Belle (“Beauty and the Beast”).

DL Royal Theatre

In addition to all of this magic in Fantasyland, Mickey Mouse and a cast of beloved Disney characters will embark on a series of musical adventures through the magical powers of a sorcerer’s map in “Mickey and the Magical Map,” the all-new, live show debuting May 25 at Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park.

But, there’s more! It’s a Monstrous Summer at Disneyland Resort!

We Can’t Wait for Disney’s PLANES

March 28, 2013

My boys all love the Cars movies. I can’t even tell you how many times they’ve seen them – more than a few! We’ve had Cars themed birthday parties, color the scenes in Cars coloring books, have the story books memorized, and we’ve even collected all of the little character figures. Ray and I took […]

Brave Girls

May 26, 2012

My house is not one in which you will find princess dresses or lots of pink. Everyone always sighs and laments over how Julia is outnumberd – “poor girl” … “she’ll be one tough cookie.” Let me tell ya, my only daughter is already one tough cookie, with a mind of her own, and a […]

I am still recovering from a magical time in sunny freezing-cold Florida at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, aka #DisneySMMoms… Home with my kiddos has never been so sweet! Being one of the small percentage of moms attending the conference sans family (not by choice, mind you… I wish we could have afforded for […]

Which Mouse House is Better? (part 2)

May 16, 2009

This series of posts has been written by Ray (my other half) and edited by moi! Don’t miss Part One! Disney’s Magic Kingdom The Disney’s Magic Kingdom is almost a carbon copy of Disneyland. This isn’t scientific, but I’d guess that they’re about 80% identical. We walked through the main gate and down Main Street […]

Catching Up

December 8, 2008

Thank God we made it home very early this morning after a very uncomfortable, albeit short, flight home. We were all so happy to be home in our own beds, and were out before our heads even hit our pillows! The kiddos slept until well after 11am, catching up on much-needed sleep, but as soon […]
