My boys really enjoy their K’NEX, so when I heard that Sesame Street and K’NEX were teaming up to create pre-school-friendly K’NEX Sesame Street building sets for the little ones, I was super excited. My tiny builders have a blast building and creating Elmo – one of their favorite Sesame Street friends.
There are several character sets from which to choose, and each building set is filled with colorful, chunky Kid K’nex rods, connectors and blocks. Each set also includes engaging and interactive educational content such as tips for parents and fun activity cards for kids.
Would you like to win a K’NEX Sesame Street Canister Building Set for your little tyke?

I think my favorite memory of Sesame Street is when they had a child with a wheelchair on the show. I had never seen anyone in a wheelchair and it was quite a learning experience (outside the show with my mom).
“Who are the people in your neighborhood?”
The pinball.
Naughty Ernie.
Gosh. And ten thousand more.

Favorite Sesame Street Memory: Bert & Ernie! Love them!
Sesame Street reminds me of spending time with my family. We didn’t watch much tv growing up but my mom let us watch Sesame Street together.
I loved Sesame Street growing up and now my kids do also. I used to love how they all went behind the tree. Do you know what part of the intro I’m talking about?

I adored sesame street growing up. We had the Sesame Street Christmas and watched it every year. We lost the tape, though, and I recall, after having my first, finding it on Amazon.com and ordering it. Sitting down and watching MY favorite video from childhood with MY child brought me to tears. Seriously lost it. And each time I watch it with all of my children and explain to them how it was mommy’s favorite when she was a kid, it not only brings me back to being a kid myself, but brings me back to the moment I first showed it to my first child, and yup, get teary every time.
There was a song on their that was a parody of Material Girl by Madonna, I watched sesame street everyday for years even though I felt I was too old, hoping to see it again. I never did. I aso was terrified of the Yip yips (yip yip uh huh uh huh) now I think its hilarious
