They say April showers bring May flowers, but all the rain these past few days is really starting to annoy my kids.
You see, we have a beautiful playset sitting in our garage. A playset that will be well loved. A playset that can not yet be assembled, due to the rain.
While we are waiting for some sunshine to assemble our new playset, we are stuck inside. I wrote a series of posts a while back on wintery weather fun, and even had some amazingly creative friends guest post. While I suppose I could re-invent some of these activities, I would like to discover some new ones. Activities that perhaps don’t require a lot of energy on my part. {Since I don’t have much lately.}
What do you do to keep your kiddos busy and dry this time of year?
So far, we’ve been bowling and rock climbing. A few of us have been to the movies with Daddy. We’ve played video games and spent all afternoon reading. Some of us even went snowboarding. But, all of us are beginning to go crazy.
I’m hoping it doesn’t continue to rain all week. If it does, however, we need some new ideas.
.
Stay tuned to hear more about our playset!

I’m sorry the rain is ruining your Spring..We’ve got a long way to go! We’ll probably miss the rain when it gets so hot you can barely breathe!

Oh, I know. I don’t mean to complain! I just feel bad for my kids being cooped up all day with a Mommy with no energy. At least if it was nice outside they’d be able to run around, y’know?
Heh, I know the feeling and I only have one toddler! But then again maybe that’s half the problem since I am his only playmate…
And I posted a Wordless Wednesday picture this week that’s very similar to yours!
