Hi, I'm new to your site. I found you via nytimes article: "Soon, Bloggers Must Give Full Disclosure". I personally had a hard time understanding exactly what all this meant, and what it might mean for me as a blogger. I had a feeling that you would blog about it and make it easy to understand, and you did. Thank you!

Between my husband and I we have six children and I home school as well. You've gained yourself a new reader. I'm looking forward to visiting your site often.

Good post. Doesn't hurt to be overly cautious and above reproach or blame. Thank you for sharing. I've been checking out the "disclosure" idea for awhile. I think I will add one myself.

Thanks!

Nice post. I'm going to go out and say that this action doesn't have much teeth and enforcement, like you said, is going to be difficult. No doubt they will be monitoring someone and they will become the sacred cow. After nearly a dozen years in the brokerage and mortgage business I'm used to disclosure, especially the frequent duplicate and over disclosure. I've even disclosed on my blog when I've paid for a book that I've reviewed and have no ties to the author or the company that produced it because I've been 'institutionalized' by my career in consumer financial services.
