I'm going to go out and say that this action doesn't have much teeth and enforcement, like you said, is going to be difficult. No doubt they will be monitoring someone and they will become the sacred cow. After nearly a dozen years in the brokerage and mortgage business I'm used to disclosure, especially the frequent duplicate and over disclosure. I've even disclosed on my blog when I've paid for a book that I've reviewed and have no ties to the author or the company that produced it because I've been 'institutionalized' by my career in consumer financial services.
