Transformers: Vacuums in Disguise (Dyson DC25 Giveaway!)
Last year we had the privilege of reviewing one of the best vacuums ever – The Dyson DC25. I discussed how easy it is to maneuver, and how it cut down on allergies in the air. Zach and Ray even created a fun video displaying how well this Dyson Ball vac moves. This short clip still makes me laugh out loud!
Well, you can imagine how excited my kiddos and I were to discover that the vacuum we have used (and abused) is making it’s Hollywood debut next week. That’s right, the Dyson DC25 makes an appearance as a Decepticon robot in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. My boys always said that our vacuum reminded them of a robot. Maybe that’s why they loved to vacuum!
We’re not sure what the DC25-cum-robot looks like in the movie, but thanks to my friends at Dyson I was directed to some of the speculations ::

First of all, working consistently! Mine will work for a while and then just shut down. It also has more power than mine does which is needed with my pets. I also wish it were bagless like this one, it would make life so much easier.

I wish mine had the roller ball so I could manuever corners and odd spaces better. Not to mention more suction to get all of my dog’s hair up on the first try!!!

I wish my vacuum had the ability to maintain suction power… mine seems to only work for five minutes before it poops out. It needs “Vacuum Viagra”!

i love that it’s bagless. i hate keeping up with buying bags and changing them.

I really wish my vacuum had a “Pneumatic actuator” to put the cleaning head deeper in the carpet pile.

I love that it is asthma & allergy friendly and the air expelled from a Dyson vacuum has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you typically breathe!
I wish my vacuum was Hygienic and quick to empty. The whole changing bags thing is a major pain.
I really wish my current vacuum had a filter and didn’t require bags! Everyone I know raves about the Dyson but we just can’t afford it right now.
