Skimbaco and Suri -- A Giveaway!!

By now I'm sure you've heard all about Tom Cruise on Oprah last week, right? Well, in the show Oprah visits Tom Cruise in his Telluride mountain home, walks inside his amazing house and in to the mudroom. Immediately Oprah sees Suri's adorable ladybug shoes and picks up the shoes. Tom Cruise says "Ladybugs are Suri's favorites."
What you may not know is that Katja, owner of Skimbaco (and a friend of mine), packed those very shoes, for Suri Cruise, herself! The ladybug shoes were part of a basket-full of items for Tom Cruise and his family, gifted to them by a mutual friend.
Katja is a remarkable woman, full of joy and sunshine. She is a work-at-home-mom of three, and works long days all the time trying to get her business going. She is truly an inspiration to me and other working and blogging moms everywhere.
Having Tom Cruise promote a product from her store, to Oprah, was a dream come true for her. She has kept her spirits up and kept believing in herself, even through difficult times, and now this wonderful thing has happened - both for her business and for her personally.
Many other items from Skimbaco were included in the gift basket for Suri, in addition to the ladybug shoes.... An Avalisa memory game, a coat & dress from Fable & Lore, Pluto tees, Posh Peacock stationery, a brown & pink baby star blanket, and even Blume caps for everyone in the family.
Katja wants everyone to know that "good things can happen to you, too, when you just believe!"

What a terrific site! I would love to wear the Custom Adult Eternity Necklace! It is a hip alternative to traditional birthstone jewelry and I love how it represents the "eternity of family". I'd have three stones; a stone for my hubby, myself, and for our sweet baby girl(Alexandrite, Rose Zircon, and Topaz). How gorgeous! Another plus...as we added to our family I could just add more birthstones!

Everything at Skimbaco is just so adorable. It's hard to find cute things for kids nowadays that are affordable. I'd definitely purchase those name bracelets and darling little peasant skirts.

I would like one of theCustom made GIGI BLANKI CO security blanket to leave with the little one we are adopting from Russia. We'd leave it with him when we first meet him(Russia requires 2 trips). It would be a comforting thing to leave with our little one while he waits for his forever family :)
