2008 - Can you believe it?
We will be back to our regularly scheduled reviews and giveaways on January 2nd....
I have some fun stuff planned - You won't want to miss any of it!!
Definitely NOT us!
As we were pulling out of our parking spot today, leaving church, our good friend comes running wildly towards our car, yelling "STOP"....
WE LEFT OUR BABY IN THE ATRIUM OF OUR CHURCH!!
How could we be such horrible parents? I am beside myself with shame and humiliation for forgetting my child!
Fortunately Noah will never remember that his parents almost left him at church, but I always will....
Ugggh!!
Okay, so it wasn't really that bad - Noah was asleep and safe, with Phil and Cami. (Thanks, guys!) Besides, we hadn't actually left church yet, and never would have made it very far without him. But, still....
This isn't actually the first time that I've done one of my kiddos wrong, just this week!
The other night we were all having a nice sushi dinner with Phil and Cami. (hmmm.) Ben started squirming in his booster seat, and one of the lovely servers came over and was telling him to be careful - You know, kind of looking at me to take care of him. (nice, huh?)
Yeah well, because my kiddos sit in boosters quite often and hardly ever fall, I told her that he was okay, and continued eating (yes, and talking).
No sooner than I put another bite in my mouth, Buddy Boo FELL OUT OF HIS CHAIR, right on his face. I jumped up, grabbed him, and sat back down to eat my humble pie.
Well, my poor baby began bleeding everywhere. Oh, and he was screaming, too... I could see the waitress telling the others, "I told her so."
Ben was fine after a bit - He did manage to only escape with fat lips and a sore nose.
But I think I'm scarred!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has been so horrible. It will make me feel better, somehow, I'm sure!
Bree, who said…
I bet you are all dying to know who won the Money Manager Toolkit, huh?
Well, Susanne is the lucky winner this time! I have emailed you, Susanne, but if you are reading this and haven't seen an email from me, please email me with your mailing address.
Here's what Susanne said…"Hate to sound like a broken record here, but I would love the money manager kit...the kindergarten countdown could work for use too, but I need more direction when it comes to money!!! Thanks."
Congratulations!

My kiddos love Tessy and Tab, and the stories told in the mini-magazines. They love to get their magazine in the mail twice a month, and I will often find them curled up on the couch reading them. They especially enjoyed reading about how Tab likes to share his money with children in Zambia... Africa is dear to our hearts too, and this is something that we do regularly.
With my twins' birthday and Christmas so close together they seem to "come into" lots of money in a short period of time, so this week we're learning a bit more about how to effectively save, spend and share, with a little help from Tessy and Tab.
Tessy and Tab know all about money management, and they have made it easy to teach my children about saving, spending, and sharing with the Money Manager Toolkit. This fun and educational package includes two Tessy and Tab magazines, a 3-part bank, charts, posters, and a detailed parent guide - Everything I need to teach basic money concepts and early financial skills to my preschool age children. It's never too early to teach basic money skills, and this is the perfect way to do it!
WIN IT! Would you like to win a Money Manager Toolkit for your family or someone on your shopping list? Check out the great I would like to announce the winner of the Ferrero Rondnoir gift set. Drumroll please....

How about purchasing a nursing cover and matching burp cloth for all of the new mamas on your list? A Mother's Gift is the perfect place to find fun and fashionable nursing accessories made of beautiful fabrics.
It wasn't until I had baby #6 that I even tried a nursing cover, partly because he was my first summer baby. But, let me tell you, I am so glad that I did. They provide the privacy I need to nurse any where without the worry of exposing myself.

Are you looking for the perfect gift for the pets (or pet owners) on your shopping list? Well, let me tell you about my next Christmas gift idea.
Feline Fido offers designer fashion four paws! Julie, the owner of this fabulous online store for pets, is wonderful to work with and super-nice. She is very passionate about animals, and even designs all of their custom-made items.
Feline Fido carries a wide variety of collars for puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats, as well as leashes, tug toys, and ID tags. You are bound to find something you love, for your furry little friends!
I found the cutest Christmas collar for my fur-ball, Morgan, and even got a heart-shaped ID tag for her. I tried to get a picture of it on her, but she wasn't havin' it... She apparently is not yet in the Christmas spirit!
Oh, and I was excited to find out that Feline Fido are proud to support and encourage those who have been affected by breast cancer, and have a custom designed line of pink ribbon products for your "fashionably aware pet." Check it out!

For those of you who did not win, please keep The Pink Zebra Boutique in mind for all of your gifts of cute comfort!
I have a great gift idea for all of us who are tired of checking this toy and that to see if it has escaped the massive recall lists...
Hounie's Haven, a new online store, has fabulous finds for the whole family. Among many other items, they carry a whole line of wooden toys that would be perfect for the little tykes on your Christmas shopping list.
I just love the wooden toys... They remind me of my childhood, when our imaginations steered our play. Toys without a whole lot of bells and whistles, just good old-fashioned fun!
So, instead of all of those battery-operated toys (that annoy to no end), buy your kiddos some old-fashioned goodness this Christmas. Hounie's Haven has just the toys for you!

Oh, just one? Michelle, over at Scribbit, is one of my favorite bloggers. I love her writing style and the variety of topics she covers every day. I always leave her place feeling encouraged, uplifted, and like I learned something new. She has fantastic weekly giveaways and posts tons of recipes, too.
Michelle has a fantastic blog post titled 5 Things Every Blogger Should Know... I recommend that all of you hop over and read this valuable information!
Who's your favorite blogger? If you write about her (or him), please let me know and I'll come read your post!
Is there a roly-poly baby on your gift list this year? Do I have a great gift idea for you!
The Happy Panda Baby Boutique has the most comfortable, high quality apparel for the bigger baby. All of their items are made in America, using environmentally safe products and inks. A plus, in my book!
Pamela, mommy of two happy pandas, began this adorable line of clothes when her first baby boy was growing so quickly that she wasn't able to buy clothes for him based on age sizes. Her second son also grew at a very fast rate, and it was still difficult for her to find the right sizes based on age. Pamela then decided to create her own line of baby clothes, clothing for the bigger baby - Happy Panda Baby.
The adorable little panda that graces almost every onesie and tee, is so adorable and the perfect mascot for the Happy Panda Baby line. They also carry soft and comfy Panda Pants and fun sleepware. Pamela sent me some crazy cute onesies for my littlest guys that have the Soccer Panda on the front. I was so pleased to receive the package, all wrapped up, and tied with a bow! The onesies (or snappies, as Happy Panda calls them) are soft and extremely well-made... The kind that you just want to rub when baby is wearing them!
So, run over to The Happy Panda Baby Boutique for gifts for all of the little pandas on your list!
The winner of a beautiful Michabella creation is....
As a mom it is super important to maintain a good sense of humor, in the midst of all the chaos. So, here is the perfect gift for all the moms on your shopping list who are living their dream...
"Fun apparel for on the go moms with a sense of humor." That is how moms, Nina and Cindi, describe their fun and witty t-shirt line, LTDchix (which stands for Living The Dream chix). Sarcastic as it may sound, it certainly IS true that, no matter how hard being a mom can be, from doing the laundry (all 5 loads a day) to cooking to playing referee, most every mom IS living her dream!
LTDchix has the perfect sassy design for every mom... There is a Living The Dream t-shirt with all your friends' dream on them. Mine is the laundry design. I wasn't kidding about the 5 loads of laundry a day!!

Let me introduce you to an all new set of blocks. Blocks of the jewelry kind.
Irina, mother and graphic designer, is the artist behind these fun pieces of jewelry made of shrinky dinks. Yep, you read that right - shrinky dinks! At first I was a little skeptical too, but once I saw all of the pieces she has made, I knew that her jewelry would be perfect for some of the special people on my Christmas shopping list. And, because I am a sucker for pink, I knew I needed the butterfly necklace!
You truly have to see them to believe it. So, run over and check out her site, i love blocks... I'll wait....
Okay, so now that you've seen Irina's work, wouldn't you agree that her jewelry would make a great gift? All of her pieces posses a funky and unique quality that I've never seen anywhere else. In fact, a good number of her pieces are inspired by the photographs that she loves to take.
Do you have a nephew or cousin, on your shopping list, who may enjoy a fun piece of art to wear? How about your babysitter? Well, gift them with blocks!
WIN IT! Would you like to win a Butterfly Necklace, like mine, from i love blocks? Visit i love blocks, then leave a comment here telling me who on your shopping list would enjoy a piece of block jewelry. A winner will be selected randomly at midday on December 6th Monday, December 10th. Good luck!
I would love if you could help spread the word about i love blocks, and this giveaway, however it is not a requirement to win.

"I love wearing my daughter - she feels close to me and I am able to get things done around the house. I don't have a Moby, but would love to get one. And the hat is too cute!"
Congratulations, Bree!!
