A Gift of Tessy and Tab
Monday, December 17, 2007
My kiddos love Tessy and Tab, and the stories told in the mini-magazines. They love to get their magazine in the mail twice a month, and I will often find them curled up on the couch reading them. They especially enjoyed reading about how Tab likes to share his money with children in Zambia... Africa is dear to our hearts too, and this is something that we do regularly.
With my twins' birthday and Christmas so close together they seem to "come into" lots of money in a short period of time, so this week we're learning a bit more about how to effectively save, spend and share, with a little help from Tessy and Tab.
Tessy and Tab know all about money management, and they have made it easy to teach my children about saving, spending, and sharing with the Money Manager Toolkit. This fun and educational package includes two Tessy and Tab magazines, a 3-part bank, charts, posters, and a detailed parent guide - Everything I need to teach basic money concepts and early financial skills to my preschool age children. It's never too early to teach basic money skills, and this is the perfect way to do it!

I think the money kit is a great idea. We have made our 4-year-old daughter do little things around the house to earn money to buy small Christmas gifts and she really liked having a sense of her making the money and this would reinforce some of those concepts.

I would love the money manager kit for my 4-year-old. She is fascinated by the idea of money and banking and always wants to come along when I go to the bank. She's just starting to understand the concepts of using, earning, spending and saving money, and this kit would be a great supplement to those ideas.
